Kim Hawley
Nurse
Kim started with us as a trainee in 2009, qualifying in 2011. She has a keen interest in dog training and behaviour and is an instructor with The Happy Dog Training Co. She runs our puppy parties at Churchdown on a Monday evening, providing invaluable socialisation for the puppies and hints and tips for the owners.
Amy Underdown
Nurse
Amy qualified in 2006 and has worked at the practice since 2009. She has an active interest in rabbit and exotic medicine and has been studying extensively in this area. She runs regular rabbit health clinics at the practice alongside the regular nurse clinics.
Ellen Capper
Nurse
Ellen is another nurse who joined the practice in 2005 and has undertaken her training here. Since qualifying, she has developed her skills in all areas of the practice and is now actively involved with both the inpatient care and nurse clinics. Her main responsibility within the practice is the in-practice laboratory facilities.

Paul Ensor
Vet
Paul joined the practice in 2014. He is experienced in all aspects of medicine and surgery but has a particular interest in ultrasonography.
Neil Savill
Vet
Neil qualified in 1992 from The Royal Veterinary College, London. A short spell in mixed practice in Devon was followed by four years in a busy small animal practice in south London. Here, he gained extensive experience in all types of practice, particularly surgery. He was also one of the vets responsible for Catford greyhound stadium. He moved to Churchdown in August 1996 and became a partner in 1998. With Ivor’s retirement in 2001, he became the sole owner of the practice.
Inside work, he does a large percentage of the consulting but still has a keen interest in surgery. Outside of work, he spends most of his time running around after his two children and the family’s extensive menagerie. In what little free time they leave him (usually before they get up in the mornings), he enjoys running, having completed seven marathons in the last few years.
