Brambles is a brill vet surgery…I used to be with another vet but changed vets when I saw how considerate brambles were to my overly timid peressa who because of his size people are normally scared of he had an operation and the vet lifted him very gently into the back of the car for me bless him…I now use brambles for my 4 dogs and 3 cats the staff are brill and really understand our beloved pets. The Staff

Here you can meet the staff at all of our Brambles Practices, including Vets, Nurses and assistants.

Neil Savill
Vet
Neil qualified in 1992 from The Royal Veterinary College, London. A short spell in mixed practice in Devon was followed by 4 years in a busy small animal practice in south London. Here he gained extensive experience of all types of practice but particularly surgery. He was also one of the vets responsible for Catford greyhound stadium. He moved to Churchdown in August 1996 and became a partner in 1998. With Ivor's retirement in 2001 he became the sole owner of the practice.

Inside work he does a large percentage of the consulting but still has a keen interest in surgery. Outside of work he spends most of his time running around after his two children and the families extensive menagerie and in what little free time they leave him (usually before they get up in the mornings) he enjoys running, having completed 7 marathons in the last few years.
Emma Sorrell
Vet
Emma qualified from Cambridge University in 2004 where she completed an elective in farm animal medicine, gained a degree in history of art and rowed for her college for 6years. After graduation she spent 4 months working In New Jersey, USA in both large and small animal practices … and became addicted to doughnuts.
After 5 years of mixed practice she decided to focus on pet medicine and surgery, but still enjoys spending time in the countryside and maintains an interest in farming.
Emma joined The Brambles in 2010 and has continued to expand her skills and experience in medicine and surgery. She particularly enjoys dermatology cases, supporting the geriatric patient and pain management.
When not working she can be found growing some oddly shaped vegetables , visting art exhibitions, and going camping and biking with her family.
At time of writing Emma is still hopelessly hooked on doughnuts…
